
Sometimes, what we need in order to be unburdened is to get out of our own heads (worries, mistrust, doubts, fears) and into our lives. We get to do this thing called LIFE only once. To understand its true value and worth we first need to thank God for gifting us with it. Then we need to start living and stop overthinking. He can control situations (according to His will). We can only control how we react to them.
Philippians 4:8 – “…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Luke 12: 25,26 – “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?”
Nothing cripples us more than our own selves. Our insecurities, worries, lack of faith, and sometimes self-esteem can put us through unnecessary mental, physical, and spiritual stress. When we know God, through a personal relationship with Jesus, we discover our true worth and identity. And when we truly begin to trust His word, we learn to let go of what we cannot change (our limitations) and allow Him, who is limitless, to change us.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
We are not called to understand or make sense of everything that happens to or around us. We are called to trust God and live every moment knowing that one day all will be perfect. Until then, our hope lies in realizing that every day we are given is a gift—an opportunity to learn from every experience in life and encourage others who face similar situations. Stop overthinking things. Stop trying to make sense of it all. Stop lamenting what could have been. Stop worrying about the future that is yet to come, if it does. Stop trying to change what only God can, if he wills. All these things just cause you to MISS the blessings before you; Your family, friends, God’s creation, your gifts, opportunities, and sometimes even your purpose. So, get out of your head and start living the abundant life He offers, now, today!
